Beginning in 2007, The Tight Lies Tour will officially become a part of the U.S. Pro Golf Tour and its Regional Players Tour System. The Tight Lies Tour as it exists today, will be divided into two Regional Players Tours.

The Tight Lies Players Tour East will consist of events in Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas.  The Capital One Classic will be a part of the East Regional Players Tour. The Tight Lies Players Tour West will be made up of events in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico.
 

The future date of the Capital One Classic, a 72-hole professional event going into its 4th year here in Southeast Louisiana, is April 9-15, 2007 with a guaranteed purse of $150,000.  The Children's Coalition for the Bayou Region will continue their involvement with running this great event which helps fund their cause of creating a community that nurtures the body, mind, and spirit of children here in Louisiana's Bayou Region of Terrebonne, Lafourche, and Assumption Parishes.  Ellendale also wishes Carol Millwater, Executive Director of the Children's Coalition, best wishes as she moves on to the next phase of her life as she has ended her tenure with the Children's Coalition.
